Company Operations Facilities

QPK Design provided architectural design and project management services for a $42.6M design/build contract to design four (4) Company Operations Facilities of varying sizes (totaling 216,134 SF) and all associated site development. The company operations buildings include offices for administration, training areas and space for the storage and maintenance of equipment for 15 companies, about 1,800 soldiers.

As Designer of Record, QPK was responsible for developing architectural systems and producing construction documents; coordinating all design consultants’ work; managing design submittal schedule; maintaining design quality control; reviewing construction progress; and creating BIM documentation.

Antiterrorism/force protection measures included special windows, doors, door frames and site measures. The project was also designed as a self-certified LEED® Construction v2.2 Silver project.
