Hudson Headwaters Health Network - Pharmacy at Moreau

In support of Hudson Headwaters Health Network’s ongoing initiative to serve the needs of their patient population and communities, QPK Design was asked to design a new retail pharmacy fit up at the Moreau Family Health Center site.

The Pharmacy aims to serve the patients from the Health Center, providing a convenient adjacency following appointments to pick up prescriptions, get vaccines, or consult with a Pharmacist. Teaming and coordinating with a Pharmacy Management company, QPK Design worked closely with them and HHHN Pharmacists to create an environment of care which supports the pharmacy needs - meeting NYS Board of Pharmacy regulations - while maintaining the feel and quality HHHN has established across their facilities. Design components with a focus on safety and security were integrated into the project.

A drive through window and associated canopy were incorporated into the existing exterior design in support an ease of customer pick up and drop off services. The interior design offers an open and approachable Reception counter and private Vaccination/Consult Room off a small patient / family Waiting Lounge.  The new Staff Respite area takes advantage of the expanse of windows along the building front, creating a bright and spacious space to recharge. Pulling from HHHN’s branding and color palette, this Pharmacy reads as an extension of their Health Center and integrates seamlessly into their comprehensive community-based health system.
