Ithaca College Esports Gaming Center Opens to Students

QPK Design partnered with Ithaca College to replace their existing Esports room and create an energizing environment supporting their expanding Esports Gaming program. The design goal was to create a dynamic space with flexibility to accommodate an ever changing and developing program, adaptable technology integration, and an overall emphasis on support, inclusion, and diversity.

Immediately, the space was very popular with students as it offers gamers the hardware resources, teammates, and coaches required to succeed in their respective Esport.

The space features:

• Gaming spaces

• Custom gaming stations with Ithaca College branded PC peripherals and wall-mounted displays

• Console and arcade gaming lounge area with custom Ithaca College branded furniture

• LED color-changing lighting throughout the gaming spaces

• Broadcasting room with custom desk, video and audio broadcasting hardware, and a green screen wall

• Custom reception desk for Esports work-studies

• Stylized wall graphics and Ithaca College Esports Logos
