QPK Design is working with JMA Wireless to build a campus-like setting at the former Coyne industrial laundry site. The 120,000-square-foot facility on Syracuse’s South Side will manufacture electronic components for 5G mobile communications networks, substantially improving mobile data speed and reliability.
The existing building was deconstructed, exposing its original structure, and re-skinned to meet current energy codes. It contains offices, admin space, technology exhibits, and a 3-season terrace on the third floor overlooking the future campus.
