QPK Design planned and designed the second tenant fit-up for New York State Technology Enterprise Corporation’s (NYSTEC) Albany, NY location. They are a not-for-profit technology consulting company advising agencies, organizations, institutions, and businesses – an organization of professionals working with clients on IT strategies, solutions, acquisitions, and security across industries.

The interior design promotes contemporary workplace strategies for hosting both transient and homebased employees and offers a variety of focused, in-person, and internet-collaborative work styles with comfortable amenities, supporting hybrid work place needs.  Open vistas and glazed walls support transparency. Decorative Ceiling elements were used to define circulation and “special” spaces.  An abundance of natural light and an edgy color pallet and materials enliven the space for the occupants.  All lighting and HVAC controls are managed through a POS system, allowing for synchronicity with climate and environmental demand.
